Regret 1
This painting celebrates the path not taken. For a long time, I regretted a life decision that would have taken me down a completely different path. When I finally decided to paint these emotions, this piece turned into one of remembrance and celebration. I realized one can lament over past choices, or one can recognize how these choices create unexpected paths, that when explored, can yield beautiful results. Not only does this painting honor the person I once was, but it also celebrates the person I have become.
